Yeah there are some people selling Suzuki chips on ebay.co.uk for £1 cheaper than my normal price, so I am going half price just to piss them off

8600 is suposed to be when the mythycal valve bounce happens
basicly the hyd lifters cant keep up with the revs
but i have seen some graphs that have gone to 9k with std lifters
its safe to rev that high, but the higher the revs the more wear is on the engine, dont expect it to last long doing so, or if it hasnt been looked after that well could cause failiure
and at the end of the day theres no point goin over the power band that your cams give
std set will go to 6700ish then you`l start to loose power whereas a grp A set of cams will go to and above 8600

untill last nite i used 2 take it up 2 9000 but last nite a load of us went laneing and changing at 7600 makes a whole load of difference
theres me thinking the reason it had no limiter was cuz it was quicker if u use all the revs but like u av said it is just pointless
i rekon i willget 1 of these chips in the next week or so.

what cams are you using?
no point goin above 7k with std cams
if you have go std, didnt you notice the revs rising slower after you went past 7k?
