Exhaust backbox Empty Exhaust backbox

Hey all, I'm after an exhaust backbox for my swift gti. Just want something that fits right, I have a standard one at the moment and it sits a mile below the rear bumper and rattles on the spring. I'm hoping to sell this soon so only want something cheap so its a nice car for next owner.

Let me know what you have, pictures would be useful as well. Thanks

Not sure how much they are worth, £800? Its in for MOT tomorrow so will have 12 months MOT and got 6 months tax. Need to sort the exhaust out before I sell it because it is extremely annoying!

Will get some proper pictures this weekend after I give it a clean. Basically its a GLS with a Gti conversion, gti bucket seats, front brakes, gearbox and driveshafts. Have got the rear discs and hubs but I didn't really feel the need to convert them so its on drums at the moment. The car has got about 83,000 and the engine has about 83,500 now. Did the conversion at about 71,000 miles and it hasn't skipped a beat.

Heres a picture I took last year, hasn't really changed apart from that was when it was dirty.

Ahh yes, I remember. Didn't realise it was at my house when you came for the parts.

Insurance isn't too bad, think I'm paying £450, all mods included. Yea no problem in coming and taking a look, I need another car before it goes hence the reason I havn't put it up for sale properly yet but no harm in taking a look. Plus as I would love to see it taken care of I would prefer to sell it without work needing to be done!

Yea, engine conversion (standard airbox), alloys, lowered, stainless steel mid section, took the straight through backbox off because I didn't like how loud it was but can include that. Has got the suzuki sideskirts, tinted lights and the gti additions I mentioned, can't think of anything else.

Possibly, I'll see how MOT goes tomorrow and if it needs anything doing to it.

Hehe, sounds good! I have had a bit of a nightmare with the exhaust system and getting it all sealed so ideally it could do with a full system on it anyway.

Well I've owned it for nearly 7 years and just decided I need something a bit more practical as a daily. Time to buy a house and its not really funny turning up to a clients house in it anymore!

Yea still got the corrado, just been fully resprayed so in a lot of bits at the moment. Can't wait to get it back, as much as I absolutely love the swift it just doesn't compare to the power and looks of the corrado.

You're kidding!? how old are you? I'm with adrian flux and they were fine with it, just said it was an engine out of a gti swift and that it was a standard engine, just out of another model.

What sort of prices are you getting?

Oh and for MOT, I'll be chucking 2 new tyres on and 2 new full wishbones (tear in ball joint boot).

It's a 1.3 gls on the log book but I insure it with the engine declared. I am 25 with 7 years no claims though.

Well If you can get insurance for cheaper let me know. Would prefer it to go to an enthusiast
