FULL REBUILD KIT ON EBAY?

what do you all think?

im starting gathering bits for a full rebuild, i have so far -oil pump, head gasket kit,timing belt
i have an ecu with the rally chip so it redlines just short of 9,000 rpm

will the high comression piston rings benefit and the high compression pistons as i want the engine to be able to take the high revs once rebuilt and worn in?

what about little end bearings and everything- i want to be rebuilt as best as possible,

anything you all would advise
another lad on here said fit vitara pistons but i though thats just for a turbo rebuild i dunno?

im also after kent cams and vernia pulleys if thats right?-any ideas?

hi mate that kit is not for a gti even if it were i would not buy that sort of stuff from ebay you want parts gor a

swift gti 1300 g13K dohc. alot of people think that the g13b is the same however it is not

what pistons are you using and who is building it and yea vitara pistons are for low compression turbo use

want to get high conmpression piston rings if thats possible so it can take high revs

will it have to be rebored for them?

i was going to strip it myself and have a go

you got any ideas/ help?

ok first there are no such things as high compression rings if youve never built a engine before i woulent without some help at least how much do you want to spend on pistons and godies etc

standard piston rings are about 150 quid etc

and pistons im not sure

how much and what differance in power and fitment to suzuki ones are these honda pistons?

piston rings are not £150 ? there like 40 quid for a set of rings max the honda pistons i believe you are refurring to are high comp for the d16 honda engine people use them because they are cheaper to buy than ones for a g13 b gudgeon pin size is the same bore will be 75mm up so you will need a rebore not many people over here use those pistons for na i would go 76mm piston 13-1 comp will cost around £500 for a set of pistons only way you will make any real power na or check ipp-flatlander for rebuild kits with pistons about £650 all in a good deal
