Hello from South Yorkshire. Just bought a 1.6 Suzuki Swift

Well, I have just discovered this forum, I have been away from the Suzuki scene for a number of years....
So what better way to come back with the purchase of a Swift 1.6 Sure its not the "hot hatch" GTI, but it is 4wd....

Just thought I would say Hi, like. I'm sure my post count will rapidly increase over the next few weeks as I get to work.

This pic is fairly old, probably a year or two. Although it still looks like this. I will put some Suzuki Sport? alloys on ( 7 spokes gti ones? ) and most likely remove the rear wing.
Will get more pictures soon when I pick her up. It has GTi interior , rear strut brace, uprated front brakes etc

nice little find spoiler actually makes it look alot like a evo 4 haha

Im 50/50 on the spoiler. It kind of tries to.make the car look like something it isnt. A lot of people, especially girls think its an old evo.
However perhaps a smaller wing or even the factory one would be less in your face, yet still make the car look like a "limited factory special".

Its kinda ironic that the Swift 4wd saloon is rarer than an evo

The car will be sorn till start of year,, so won't be out to play until around march I guess....

I'm in Harrogate .the car in the profile pictures is not mine. I was going to buy that body kit but stuck to the standard gti kit in the end. I would up load some pic's but iv only got a smart phone

I havent seen a gti on road for at least 2 years now when i was 15 16 they were pretty rare then that was 9 years ago lol

A lad in harrogate's got a red H reg turbo but he only drives it two or three times a year.

i saw that red one on teamswift a wile back really nice car

Didn't no it was on there. I'll have a look tonight. I no he's spent about £4500 on it.
