Justy Turbo Project
I started doing some autosolos in my gti and really loved it, so i wanted to progress and build a justy gti turbo for hillclimbs and sprints. Altho now sprint tracks in cornwall cease to exist, and the only hillclimb is about 15secs long. o well.....

Then i brought a justy from sheffield, train up and drove it back. A long day!
Think i done an autosolo the day after i brought it.

Re: Justy Turbo Project
its been awhile and photobucket seemed to have moved all my photos so the old links dont work anymore, i might go and change them all at some point.
most people have seen this if theyve got me on facebook, but anyways...
got the red gti MOT'd. done a couple autosolo's.

With race season fast approaching and the justy still looking dire, i used the gti.
1st season, 7 events, 5x 2nds and a third.

Re: Justy Turbo Project
Engine Wise, i havent got a lot of the photos atm.
I spent ALOT in Suzuki.

Sorting the pistons out and removing sharp surfaces.

All balanced

Port matching manifold.

The exhaust gasket from suzuki that came in the gasket kit wasnt the same as the gasket you can buy sepearte, it was huge! all the better for me

Head porting

Expect alot more progress. now its end of race season gearing up for the next one

yh its much stronger they sounded so hollow before, same with the diff cradle thing,
if you do it make the smaller plate longer and drill the hole further along right under the arb droplink.
i didnt think of that until i went to put the arb on, couldnt quite get a socket on from where i drilled so had to use a spanner just a pain.

Re: Justy Turbo Project
Have you refitted that cradle after welding ross? All that heat has prob bent it a bit, unless you took days to do it one tack at a time :-)

Close, Polypipe only the best! im going to replace it all using 45's at some point,
the tech guy for the heater said use that corrugated hose stuff, i thought it would restrict the flow too much, he wasnt very helpful after i said im using wastepipe. not sure if he didnt like being told his idea wasnt great or that i thought of something he never has haha
