Hello
Hi guys.
First up, thanks for setting up such a cool UK based forum. Some of you might have seen me around Teamswift and RedlineGti. Love those sites but its great to have a local hang-out aswell
Seems as though i registered her some time ago but must have forgoten all about it cos when i just went to register it didnt let me cos my username was "already in use"! Then i tried to log in and, well i'll be damned!, im already a member!
Maybe ive already inroduced myself on here before and forgoten all about it
oh well, hello again if so
To be honest, the UK sites kind of confuse me! There was one a while ago that i used to check out, was it uksuzuki.co.uk or something. Then suzuki4u.com now this. Are they all conected? Whatever. This is cool.
Steve, i've seen your avater pic for a while and am trying to figure out wher in london those council flats are. I grew up on the aylsbury estate and it looks alot like that.
Anyway. I own a 90 gti which is like one of the family to me. Have had it around 10 years now. On Wednesday she failed her MOT due to rust. Needs welding and the bloke wants £275 +vat. So i have made a decision that i have had pondering in the back of my mind for years. I have declared her SORN, taken her of road and am going to rebuild her from the ground up! I am shitting myself
cos i aint got a clue! First and formost im gonna have to learn how to weld! And then take it from there.
Anyway, thats enough ranting from me. Im sure i will be asking the experts among you for help and advice soon enough so thank you all in advance.
Wish me luck guys

Long road
Hi, I'm Craig, I'm 18 and have just got a Mk 2 Ph2 1.0 GLS which I'm converting to a GTi over the next year or so. It's good to find a UK based club so I can talk to people about getting stuff for my swift in the uk. I've got a blue GLS 3 door, which should have the GTi bodykit on by the end of june hopefully. Get some picture up but she's looking abit messy at the moment as I got it given to me with dents all round. So if anyone knows a good place for cosmetics on the GTi kit then please let me know, and also if there's anyone in the Somerset area. Would be sweet to know.
Cheers.
Cheers.
