Fuel pump
My swift has been lying up for a while now (3yrs)
Changed battery, tried to start turning over ok but no familiar fuel pump buzz, all fuses seem ok, fuel gauge has also stopped working not sure if that related, any help would be appreciated

Re: Fuel pump
Have you tried the relay, or check if you have 12v going to the pump.

Re: Fuel pump
Hi Almondo
Dropped the tank yesterday and found that the wires going to the pump and gauge chewed up
I'd say a rat was the culprit, anyways repaired wiring refitted tanked, and she fired up.
Have noticed some more wires chewed up at front passenger indicator and windscreen washer piping
Another few hours will have it sorted
Cheers
