Windows are definitly a pain in the swifts arse! Sad

Will get round to trying to sort it properly at some point.

Has been a while since i had the door apart but if i remember correctly the vertical runner/guide seems to bend away from the glass over time. Bending it back might help although a more permanent way to keep it there is needed.

I take it you have all seen this http://www.teamswift.net/viewtopic.php?t=17205

Keep us posted with any progress as i wanna get this thing fixed too Cool

thanks mate, found that not long after i posted, will give it a go once I get it all wired up. sorted the wiring diagram last night so just need to install a 3 + wire loom with two 4 pin plugs and takeoff for power.

will let you know how the repair goes.

Pulled the drivers window mechanism out, used a vice and squished the runner so the edges were parallel then silicone sprayed the guides after a rubber cleaner.
Cant believe how dirty the rubbers were, black gunk rubbed off with fingers and balled up. yuk!
moves like a new one...not that I know what new ones were like but excellent fix.

cheers,
