well i would say the postage was a good price as they are abit heavy. he says its been sat for 2 months so i would watch that but it might be genuine. i personally wouldnt pay no more than £60 as if there is something wroung with it then it could get expensive. full gearbox rebuilds are the best part of £400 for standard parts. i bought a engine and gear box for £120 of ebay 2 months ago and told it was sat for 6 months wot aload of bollocks that was more like 18 months. at the end of the day they aint to easy to come bye so take a risk with it if you need it.

thanks again
im having to change engine and gearbox......snapped/shattered the mount thats welded to engine and gearbox, could get it rewelded but it would be weak and go again.
i have a new engine cost me £150, 60,000miles its been sat for roughly 3mouths, just need the gbox.
can get fitted weekend job for £200, which i think fairly reasonable.
i have reasearched other gboxes off net bout £200 with 30day gaurentee but only second hand, not reconditioned so i relly dont know wot i should go about doin?

good price for your engine if its genuine miles, good price on putting gearbox and engine in for £200. i find a 30 day garantee aint worth the fuckin paper its written on, but if u buy the 1 off of ebay then you gatta take more of a risk if its gonna be any good with out a garantee. your have to take a risk i reckon mate....

HI
Ok the mount was at the bottom of the engine the holes where the mount goes in shattered off the engine block, same happened to the gearbox, i could have got them welded back on but cuz its cast steel it would have been weak and gone/broke again in a year or so, as for bein patient i had only drivin it for 2days, its been off the road for alittle under 1 month as for waiting months for parts couldnt wait just want it back on the road lol, money not an issue so it all good. i did inquire bout second hand gearboxes from24/7spares.com, roughly £300, got mine for £131, engine wid 60000miles £150 which i think/thought was cheap, fitted for £200,which is a very fair price.
