I have the Stage 2 chip with socket for sale for the mk2 gti, originally brought off ssgti.net

Will also work on the mk2 phase2 gti but the check engine light will stay on

Is this chip still for sale? I cant connect to ssgti.net 2 check specs does this chip alter rev limiter?

yes it removes the limiter, ive just put it on ebay but you can buy it now if you want

No i am after 1 but would like to keep redline standard, cheers though

why? if your modding then you need the extra revs and bouncing off the limiter isnt going to do your engine any favours

have u used this chip, does it make any difference to performance or just make it rev harder?

ssgti was working last week, they must be having problems. Its certainly better than the stock chip but if thats the only mod your doing it wont make a huge dfference, but definately a noticable one.
